Automated Water Cannon

New Firefighting Equipment
When a fire breaks out sometimes all you have is mere minutes before your house is nothing but ashes, and by the time the fire department gets there all they can do to help requires them substituting their hoses for brooms. It is during the precious moments when you are waiting for the fire department to arrive that the automated water cannon comes in handy. The AWC is a remote controlled water cannon that pops up from underground when a fire is reported. It is remotely controlled by a firefighter that is off location. The source of the water comes from the underground water pipes that are already in place for fire hydrants. Once the fire is doused, or the fire fighters arrive on scene, the water cannon retracts back into the ground. This invention could save properties and lives by extending the time it takes for a house to burn to the ground.

This is a pretty cool invention, but it would be so damn expensive. It would be much cheaper to just put this on a fire hydrant rather than creating a whole new system. Other than that, great invention. Do you guys patent these ideas or just share them?

Haha yes, very expnsive. However, we felt that a cannon above ground would be too prone to vandalism. This site is deticated to inspiring people to be creative. We do not have legal patents on these ideas, they are for everyone. We think of something that we find cool, and we float it out there, and we strongly encourge our readers not to hesitate to post their own ideas (or improve upon ours), in the “submit your inventions” tab. Anyways, we hope that you are enjoying the site, and thanks for reading and for your comment!
