How about Apple introduce the new iPhone (which will be in June) with a built in male USB port so we can just plug the thing in to any computer and use it like a portable hard drive. I don’t want iTunes or anything to pop up, just a little window that you can drag data to. It would be convenient and solve some of those problems where you think to yourself, “Damn, I wish I had my USB drive.”

We apologize for all those that despise the iPhone, but we love it. What phone is better than the iPhone? So far, we haven’t found any that come close. So until that day, we will be coming out with ways to make the iPhone better… although these things won’t ever happen because Apple is not wasting their time with listening to us.

This pretty much exists but it isn’t used quite as well as I would like it too. First of all, read my first post on the Computing Cloud to better understand my depiction of how cloud computing should work.

So phones are already connected in a giant network, and now they are all basically computers with more power than our home computers from a few years ago. So everything is ready, but we just aren’t actually using everything to its full capability and using our cellphones is how we optimize our technology.

Our cell phones can be connected with our cars, and our cars should already be connected to the giant computing cloud. With these paired, we can use it as our car key or even have our phones store information about how we like our seat positioned while we are driving, or our favorite radio presets. The possibilites are endless.

Most of the cell phones include GPS as well. I dont want to give too much away about the next part of my cloud computing segment, but how nice would it be if you house knew when you were coming home?

I have several ideas for cloud computing, so I will separate them into several different parts, this of course being part 1.

First of all, I will define cloud computing. This is just how I define it and not necessarily the only definition for it, many people define it differently and it is one of those things that nobody can seem to agree with. The computer cloud, or cloud computing, is basically a virtual world where all servers, computers, etc are all connected and are able to dynamically exchange data. The immediate advantage to this would be the ability to keep all storage (i.e. hard drives) in a remote location, therefore decreasing the size of computers and such. You could potentially store all your files, contacts, music, images, videos, calendars, and so forth on your home server and remotely access it from anywhere in the world. Just recently, have we seen several instances of this dream beginning to come to life.

So now I want to bring your car into the computer cloud. I can see several uses for this like connecting your music library to your car so you alway have your music library on the go. Or maybe downloading a map location to your car for your gps to store. Streaming videos for your passengers to watch. All of this is quite feasible with the computing cloud.

Not only could your computer transmit data to your car, but the car could also beam back data to the computer. For example, if the radio has a catchy song that you want to download to your computer, how about pressing a button to purchase the song from Amazon (because iTunes costs $1.29 per song).

If you have any other great ideas, leave them in the comments section or go ahead and post to the blog by hitting the “Submit Your Ideas” button at the top or clicking here.

Tired of ordering games online then having to wait a week for them to ship it to your lazy ass? Us too! But have no fear this product will revolutionize your online game buying experience. Imagine a system that holds blank disks and then immediately burns what ever disk-based entertainment you buy online, instantly giving you your product. Well the Home Video Store is exactly that! Buy X box 360 and PS3 games online and have them in your hands in a matter of seconds! This product would also save huge amounts of space on your hard drive, leaving plenty of room for your thousands of illegally downloaded songs. The Home Video Store would be capable of burning…

Xbox/Xbox 360 games

All the games for any of the Playstation consoles

Blu Ray and Regular DVDs

The Home Video Store would mark the end of all movie, and video game stores.

What percentage of purchases are through online retailers? Last time I checked, it was on par with about 30%. That is a lot. Since the new way to buy seems to be online, let’s make it even easier for us. I propose no more typing in those ridiculous credit card numbers and instead, add a credit card reader to our computer keyboard. Now we can finally spend our money without even thinking about it using great stores like Amazon and eBay. Soon we won’t even need to drive at all, everything will just be shipped straight to our doors. And even if we still have to drive to pick up some of our purchases, we still may not need to actually drive.
